Terms of Service

Effective date: June 23, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of teachhomeschoolfinance.com (the "Site") and the courses, downloads, and related services we offer through it (together, the "Service"). Please read them carefully.

By visiting the Site, creating an account, or purchasing anything from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share information. Please review it as well.

1. Who We Are

teachhomeschoolfinance.com is operated by Homeschool Money, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability company based in Idaho, USA. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for adults. By creating an account or making a purchase, you represent that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your state of residence) and able to enter into a binding agreement. Our courses are designed to teach personal finance to children and teens, but they are meant to be purchased and supervised by a parent, guardian, or teacher. If you allow a minor in your household to use the Service, you do so through your own account and under your own supervision, and you are responsible for their use.

3. Your Account

To access certain parts of the Service, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are for use by a single household and may not be shared, sold, or transferred. Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

4. Our Courses and Products

We offer online personal finance courses, as well as downloadable products such as printable workbooks and worksheets. Courses are delivered through our online course platform, and access is provided after your purchase is complete. Downloadable products are made available for you to download after purchase.

We may add, change, update, or discontinue courses, products, or features at any time. We are not obligated to keep any particular course or product available.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change at any time. Any applicable sales tax will be calculated and added at checkout where required.

Payments are processed through our course platform's checkout using Thinkific Payments, which is powered by Stripe. By making a purchase, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for the amount shown at checkout. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate payment and billing information. We may refuse or cancel an order if we suspect fraud, an unauthorized or unlawful transaction, or an error in pricing or product information.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

We want you to feel confident in your purchase. The following refund terms apply to purchases made directly on the Site.

Courses. We offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee on course purchases. If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, as long as you have completed less than 25% of the course at the time of your request. To request a refund, email us at [email protected] with your order details. Requests made more than 14 days after purchase, or after you have completed 25% or more of the course, are not eligible.

Downloadable products. Printable workbooks and other digital downloads cannot be returned once they have been downloaded, so they are non-refundable after download. If you have not yet downloaded a product, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase.

Bundles. If your purchase includes more than one item (for example, an all-access bundle or a course that includes downloadable materials), the course terms above apply to the courses in the bundle, and the download terms above apply to any downloadable materials you have already downloaded.

Purchases on other platforms. Products you buy through Etsy, Teachers Pay Teachers, or any other third-party marketplace are subject to the refund and return policies of those platforms, not these Terms.

Please contact us first. If you have any concern about a charge, we'd genuinely like the chance to make it right. Please email us before disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer so we can help resolve the issue.

7. Intellectual Property and License to Use

All content we provide — including course videos, scripts, readings, quizzes, exams, workbooks, printables, worksheets, graphics, logos, and other materials (the "Content") — is owned by Homeschool Money, LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Courses. When you enroll in a course, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view that course for your own personal, non-commercial, educational use within your household. You may not share your account or login credentials with anyone outside your household.

Workbooks and printables. When you purchase a downloadable workbook or printable, we grant you a limited license to download, print, and use it for personal, non-commercial, educational use within one family or one teacher's own classroom. You may print as many copies as you need for the children or students in your own household or classroom.

Restrictions. Except as expressly permitted above, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, share, sell, resell, sublicense, rent, lend, or publicly post any of the Content; remove any copyright or proprietary notices; or use the Content to build a competing product or service. You may not upload the Content to any file-sharing site, public forum, or other learning platform.

If you would like to use our materials with a co-op, group, school, or other organization, please contact us at [email protected] about an extended or multi-user license.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms.

9. Educational Purpose; Not Financial Advice

Our courses and materials are provided for general educational and informational purposes only. They are designed to teach personal finance concepts — including topics such as budgeting, saving, investing, credit, debt, taxes, and insurance — in a general way.

The Content is not personalized financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, or insurance advice, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for advice from a qualified, licensed professional who understands your specific situation. Examples, figures, and scenarios in the Content are illustrative only.

We do not guarantee any particular financial outcome or result. Any decisions you make based on the Content are your own responsibility, and we encourage you to consult a licensed professional before making important financial decisions.

10. Feedback and Testimonials

If you choose to send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you agree that we may use them without any obligation or compensation to you. If you voluntarily provide a testimonial or review, you grant us permission to use it, along with your first name and last initial, to promote the Service, unless you ask us not to.

11. Third-Party Platforms and Links

The Service relies on third-party providers, including our course platform and website host (Thinkific) and our payment processor (Stripe). We also offer some products on third-party marketplaces such as Etsy and Teachers Pay Teachers, and our Site may link to other websites and platforms, such as social media, YouTube, or our newsletter.

We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party platform or website. Your use of those services, and any purchase you make through them, is governed by their own terms and policies. Once you leave our Site, these Terms no longer apply.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service and all Content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any results obtained from using the Service will meet your expectations. You use the Service at your own risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Homeschool Money, LLC and its members, employees, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service or any Content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the product or service giving rise to the claim. Some states do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Homeschool Money, LLC and its members, employees, and service providers from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

15. Termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Service or others. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including those on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.

16. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page, and the changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Idaho, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

If a problem comes up, we'd genuinely like the chance to resolve it first — please contact us at [email protected] before taking any formal action.

19. General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any policies posted on the Site, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business.
